Role Summary

The Senior Optometrist leads clinical quality within the store, managing advanced cases while mentoring optometrists and supporting store leadership in delivering high-value consultations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

• Conduct advanced eye examinations and specialised testing.
• Handle complex prescriptions and clinical escalations.
• Ensure strict adherence to optometry SOPs and quality benchmarks.

Training & Mentorship

• Train and mentor junior optometrists and store staff.
• Promote continuous learning and clinical excellence.

Customer & Business Support

• Support high-value consultations through clear explanation and guidance.
• Work with store leadership to enhance customer confidence and outcomes.

Growth at Eyesense

Senior Optometrists refine both clinical authority and consultative confidence, playing a key role in guiding customers through advanced solutions while supporting overall store performance.

Candidate Requirements

• M.Optom or experienced B.Optom or Diploma with 5 year work experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
